We are Andrew & Carol Steel, trading as J&A Steel
Set in the heart of rural Angus, Craignathro Farm and East Ingliston Farm are worked as a single unit comprising of 261.57 arable
hectares. Both farms are readily accessible by road and pose no problems for deliveries and uplifts. Seed & Ware Potatoes, Spring Barley and Winter Wheat are cropped
every year.
Occasionally land is let to Carrots,etc. The remainder of the ground is in Grass which is used
for Silage and for grazing cattle and sheep.
We normally finish about 250 cattle in a year and fatten 300-400 sheep.
All farm work is carried out by ourselves. We employ two workers.
